The saddest aspect of life right now is that science gathers knowledge faster than society gathers wisdom.

Azimov’s Foundation cycle sat in my brother’s bedroom for years when I was a kid, I grew up wondering what was the Foundation cycle, then ended up reading it all, and I mean all of his books. At some point in Foundation someone arrives in Trantor, and describes how they could see the clouds in the room of a spatioport because the ceilings were so high, this has become a key element of my work.

Also, about that quote by Azimov¬†“The saddest aspect of life right now is that science gathers knowledge faster than society gathers wisdom.”, I would like to say to the coders and companies working on #AR #augmentedreality that people aren’t waiting for you to provide them with another fucking boring GPS, or another cheap ikea app to see how would such furniture look like in their apartment, $$$ ? No. People want to fast forward into the future without having to get older, to bend space and time, tech got to the point of being “spice” for life.

This might sound arrogant, but so far I need to write it somewhere because Im there walking alone in the dark with this idea, and I don’t meet with any futurist building the future the way I do, simply no where, though I seek them, hence it’s my natural right to talk about it, and criticize if I want.
